Parkland
The city of Parkland is located in the northern part of Broward County between Boca Raton and Coral Springs. It has extensive zoning laws that maintain “park-like” communities, so residents can enjoy a peaceful life, but have all the amenities of a city. Parkland is an affluent suburb and is home to approximately 32,000 residents and is known for its pristine parks and manicured bike paths.
Parkland has above average schools that are served by the Broward County School System, which is the sixth largest school system in the country. There are baseball fields, turf soccer/football fields, 4 tee ball fields, a fishing pier, community center and an amphitheater. There is also a 7.5-acre equestrian center as well as a 20-acre wilderness preserve.
Parkland provides easy access to all of the fun and leisure attractions of nearby Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and all of the South Florida metropolitan areas, as well as easy access to all of the professional and college sports offerings in Florida including: The Miami Marlins (MLB), The Miami Heat (NBA), The Miami Dolphins (NFL), The Florida Panthers (NHL), Inter Miami (MLS), and the Miami Hurricanes, The FAU Owls and the FIU Panthers, all of the NCAA.
